I was putting the farm stand away this evening when these 3 kids came up and said they had seen the stand earlier and came back to buy a plant. This little girl had a handful of quarters and she asked me for a green bean plant. I ran back into the house to grab one. I gave her the plant and each of them a cookie and I told them not to worry about payment just to run along and plant it and have fun. Just now I'm washing dishes and I see them again coming up the driveway. I open the door and they had brought me a bowl of eggs from their chickens. The little boy said "You spread kindness so we wanted to give it back to you" So naturally now Im sobbing in my kitchen over a bowl of eggs. This is exactly the kind of community I wanted to create with the stand. Thank you kids, you can never know just how much you made my day today ❤️
