A John Deere Field Connect was installed on the ProSoils Youth in Motion site today! Not only will it measure accumulated rainfall and solar radiation, but the soil moisture probe will also measure the water usage of the wheat crop. Thank you to @CropIntel for your contribution!

🌱Friday Agronomy Spotlight🌱 These markings are left by pea leaf miners- larvae that feed between the layers in the leaf. Damage is usually restricted to the bottom stipules of the plants and does not result in yield loss #Agronomy #ProSoils Photo Credits to @WishartGirl09

🌱Friday Agronomy Spotlight🌱 It is recommended to seed solid-stemmed CWRS and CNHR wheat varieties at 30-35 seeds/sq. ft to maximize stem solidness and reduce the impact of wheat stem sawfly. For hollow-stemmed CWRS varieties and durum wheat, seed at 40-45 seeds/sq ft #Plant2019
