(3) board directors denied him that. He made the right decision. Granting automatic 10 year extensions to existing five-year contracts, tripling the term with no further review whatsoever, is fiscally and legally irresponsible.

(2) the resolution that was his idea, not the districts. The directors said they were given legal advice that caused them to question the legality of the resolution. Dir Moore requested an executive session to discuss the legality, and his fellow extremist anti-public education

You should’ve posted his whole comment. Bob was awesome! But speaking of embarrassing yourself, shouldn’t a member of the State Board of Education have a little more decency than to send out texts full of lies like this? (through your anti public education political group )

My son can’t even go on a field trip or take an Advil without my consent. So why do schools think they have the right to “transition” a child without asking Mom & Dad? Tradition, precedent, and the Constitution are on the side of parents.

Compliments to @noellecook_com for pointing out the importance of accurate info, despite an account seemingly obsessed with Bucks County, PA going on a rant.
There’s a viral claim that no Moms for Liberty–endorsed candidates won “contested” school-board races this week. That claim is false. Not many wins, but not zero. A short 🧵 on how selective wording can turn misinformation into something that sounds true.

Replying to @ThePoliticalHQ
"No M4L candidate won a single contested seat anywhere in the United States." I don't think that's true. Here is an example from 2024. The underlined person is from the Wright county chapter of Moms for Liberty. While many M4L candidates lost, I'm sure there are other examples.

Our favorite library explorer found a painting of @The_Pigeon among the legendary characters of children’s literature in Estes Valley Library (right next to Max, the Wild Thing!).

I love this. An entire community showed up… 2017, Billy Earl Dade Middle School in Dallas planned a “Breakfast with Dads” for boys whose fathers couldn’t attend. They asked for 50 volunteers—nearly 600 men showed up. Fathers, mentors, neighbors filled the room with guidance, support, and love. This Father’s Day, let’s remember: showing up matters. You don’t have to be someone’s dad to be their example.

The MN a/ssassin's ties to the New Apostolic Reformation begin with his being a graduate of Christ for the Nations Institute. Wired further reports: "In a 2023 sermon reviewed by WIRED and delivered by the alleged shooter in Matadi, a city in the Democratic Republic of Congo that is on the border with Angola, he preached against abortion and called for different Christian churches to become “one.” “They don't know abortion is wrong, many churches,” he said. “They don't have the gifts flowing. God gives the body gifts. To keep balance. Because when the body starts moving in the wrong direction, when they're one, and accepting the gifts, God will raise an apostle or prophet to correct their course.” ”God is going to raise up apostles and prophets in America,” he added, “to correct His church.”

There’s an elected school board official suing a local mom because’s demanding he be held accountable for his behavior. It’s not the first time the guy has been in the courts for intimidating citizens who oppose his beliefs.

Why won’t CO leg pass a bill to add ethical oversight for school & metro districts? Who benefits when billions of dollars are controlled like this? Who exploits this gap & how ? @COTimesRecorder @ColoradoSun @DurangoHerald @TimesCall @cueducation @nexton9news @colo_politics
If you’ve ever thought: “There has to be a better way to hold school boards accountable”… HB25-1079 is that way. Support a full Senate vote—because ethics shouldn’t be optional, right @JeffBridges ? #copolitics @deguire_mike @CPRBrundin @mtnmamaforever @KyleClark @SenadoraJulie

How ‘bout this. Instead of religious groups & folk pouring massive $$ into school board takeovers, privatization, and vouchers….put the money into the private schools that can legally teach religion. Then admit ppl who can’t afford tuition to those schools. @piper4missouri
