Mr. @elonmusk is officially a trillionaire. Beyond the money, Elon Musk remains one of the people who shaped the way I think in some areas, and someone I still look up to in other areas. Vision. Risk. Consistency. Execution. Congratulations, sir. This is history.❀️

Most of the big content creators you know today didn't have any content before they started. Everything became content after they started creating. Nobody sees the whole picture before starting.

This feels almost unreal. In less than 24 hours, my app has sent 482 OTP emails through @ZohoZeptoMail. Total SMTP cost so far: $0.00. No frustrating gate limits, and delivery has been smooth. If your application is starting to scale and you're still struggling with SMTP restrictions from other providers, don't overlook Zoho ZeptoMail. The value to cost ratio is surprisingly good, especially for startups and growing projects.

I have been using a single thread for a few days now and I haven't experienced such issues. At one point, I used a single thread for almost a week and i didn't experience any issue. infact i prefer single thread cos Codex is literally good at it.
Again, do NOT use just one thread in Codex, the model gets so bad after using it for a long time I literally had to stop it because it was taking over 30 minutes just to make a git push

I forgot to say I am using selfhosted auth; it gives me the freedom to do and undo things. BetterAuth on VPS.
I'm back to using @ZohoZeptoMail as my primary SMTP provider, with Cloudflare Email Workers serving as my fallback option. In past few months, I've moved between several providers: - Started with Brevo - Switched to SendGrid - Pivoted to Cloudflare Workers (limited to 200 outbound emails per day) - Now settled on Zoho ZeptoMail So far, ZohoMail stands out because it is affordable, reliable, and doesn't impose the restrictive daily sending limits I experienced elsewhere. For new users, they also offer up to 10,000 free emails to get started. For my current email infrastructure, ZohoMail handles primary delivery while Cloudflare Workers provide redundancy when needed.

they really need to work on their PR. just a few weeks ago, I was searching for another SMTP provider to migrate to. I had been using Brevo, but it stopped being profitable for my use case. When I searched Google for alternatives, the only names everywhere were Postmark, SendGrid, and a few others, nothing about ZeptoMail (so i switched to SendGrid).. honestly, I wish I had discovered ZeptoMail earlier. but at this point, i’m moving most of my stack completely to Cloudflare because it already powers a large part of my infrastructure, even though ZeptoMail seems cheaper, I can’t keep switching SMTP providers all the time, this would already be my 4th migration.

I have a new kind of big button that I can press for Codex. Over the next 100 days, we will select one person per day who does impressive or incredibly useful work with Codex and give them 10X usage limits for a month to see what they can do with it. First one tomorrow.

I prefer giving presents to giving my presence. Luckily for me, 78% of people love presents. My present represents my presence, though it's great to have both.

The Codex usage limits have been reset for all paid ChatGPT subscriptions. You should be back to 100% weekly and 100% hourly limits. Let the tokens do incredible things today and have fun.

Introducing Claude Opus 4.8: it builds on Opus 4.7 with sharper judgment, more honesty about its own progress, and the ability to work independently for longer than its predecessors. Available today at the same price.

You forgot to mention 'selfhosted on VPS'.
I'm starting to think it has to do with my tech stack why I'm only one doing this Vanilla PHP Vanilla JS SQLite is so simple and basic it's hard for AI to fuck up The more complex your stack the higher odds AI (or you!) will make a fatal bug Simple works here
58
Your shipped full time spaghetti code right from inception probably. Ask codex 5.5 xhigh to "analyze, plan & implement standard practice for your code base"

*how*, though? I'm building a new project that's not even too complex and when doing incremental improvements (not even saying new full fledged features), almost every time something breaks. using mostly 5.5 recently because opus seems to be worse in that regard.
