Whenever I cross the Ben Franklin Bridge on @ridepatco or by bicycle I think that my grandfather, my father, and now I take this bridge as we all lived in Philly and worked in Camden. Infrastructure for the generations…happy 100th!
🌉 @DRPA_PAandNJ will host a FREE 100 year anniversary event for the Ben Franklin Bridge on July 11.
The bridge will close to car traffic and invites people to walk the bridge, and enjoy food trucks, live music and more family friendly activities.

Ran into my 84 yr old friend who works at Reading Terminal at Jefferson. Told me she is going to London. Told her I was going to Barcelona. As we turned to get on our respective SEPTA trains she yelled “Sean! I have some cookies for you!” I love my country Philadelphia.
