You could have saved us from the "embarrassment" @SenMcConnell if you had done your job during the impeachment hearings. You are uniquely responsible for the situation the country is now in.

By happenstance, I found myself in a Zoom with the campus Marketing director and, one day later, now have access to quality, free-to-use images of people all around campus. I've already updated my fall courses with these images!🥰Thank you, Marketing!
Wow! The @PeraltaEquity Equity Conference held online last week was amazing, with the fabulous @JGlapaGrossklag and @brocansky among many knowledgeable presenters and colleagues sharing their ideas to #EquitizeOL and #HumanizeOL. I'm continuing to feast on the ideas! Cheers!

Great ideas for designing engaging discussions online or on-campus (and #HumanizeOL): facultyfocus.com/articles/on…

My English Lit students created the following word cloud to define "America" based on their own short stories they wrote. A few words stand out to me: opportunity, home, equality, and struggling together. Here's to struggling together! It beats struggling alone :)
In a little lightheartedness as the term ends, I'll share a Zoom blooper, #Zooper? In PD, I was called on to speak before expected. In front of all the "brady bunch" windows, I had to spit out a ginger chew so I could speak. Cue #stopvideo. Lesson: #startvideo after eating

I'm glad you mentioned "treat", @TracySchaelen! For colleagues looking to feed their passion over this more quiet Thanksgiving, feast on the inspiring Capstone showcase @brocansky has made possible. Find wisdom and practical tips for #OnlineTeaching. onlinenetworkofeducators.org…
Reading these blog posts was such a treat! And, of course, @ProfHarmon had me at the butterflies.🦋 I am hopeful that @ONEforTraining's Advanced Online Teaching Principles Certificate can be brought back now that CCC online ed has grown beyond all predictions . . .

I thought I'd share one of my class's word cloud from their "happiness" project. It brightened my day.
If you're looking for more transition-to-online learning resources, MLA has compiled a helpful list here: teachingresources.hcommons.o… #KeepTeaching And yes, their home page image does remind me of tp rolls at the moment. Maybe it's a passing obsession!

Adam Grant in NYT writes that business focuses too much on time management to increase productivity, when it's really attention management that matters. The key is intrinsic motivation. Sound familiar? I'm reviewing my #TimeManagement student overview. nyti.ms/2V1vZ4n

Outside the classroom, students are creating things. They’re involved in all kinds of systems of informal learning, whereas most of our schools still treat collaboration as a form of cheating. From Henry Jenkins. #CCCDigCiz
