JDRF celebrates today’s decision from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to approve teplizumab (under the brand name Tzield) for use in delaying type 1 diabetes (T1D) in at-risk individuals. This is a huge step on the path towards our vision of a world without T1D. (1/2)

Last night we cooked up a storm @PerthChildrens with adolescents living with #T1D. Funded by @PCHFWA, the Teaching Kitchens program runs on Tues for 4 weeks & combines nutrition education & practical cooking skills to connect peers & have fun! First up was a yummy penne bolognese

@AveniHaynes1 just gave a great talk at #EASD2022 looking at CGM in the ENDIA study. Glycemic variability and TIR was different in the stages leading to T1D. Important implications for how we can monitor kids prior to stage 3.
