Absolutely agree @PWGTennant. Fortunately, some funders are better at acknowledging and rewarding this, but much needs to be done
I believe our most important scientific 'outputs' are the people we train.
Because there's nothing more valuable & impactful than supporting others to grow & flourish.
Yet this is barely considered when we apply for grants, where 'postdocs' are a resource.
This is DEEPLY wrong
