I support this. Take it one step further and make the only meal option the cheese and veggie omelette. That vomlet will get these lazy sacks off welfare ASAP.
If MREs are good enough for our troops, why not for welfare? What if EBT was replaced with monthly MRE deliveries, 8 cases per person. No misuse. No luxury. Just food. Needs met. Problem solved!

Dems be like, "Think of all the illegal aliens we could have given services to instead"
The Reflecting Pool on the National Mall has been refilled following President Trump’s renovations. The project ultimately took six weeks and cost more than $10 million, far more than Trump initially projected. wapo.st/4uspV4H

Pettersen's own qualifications are limited to having been a waitress, housekeeper and shill for Democrat "non-profits" 🤣
Bill Pulte has zero qualifications for this job. What he does have? Blind loyalty to Trump. Just another yes man who will put Trump's interests above us.

Why didn't I think of starting a "non-profit" to give away 'free' diapers and and pay myself over 200k a year to do it.
This sounds cool. But wait. 400 diapers will last a family with a newborn approximately five weeks. The program will cost the state approx. $12.4 million this year alone. That money will be funneled through a company called Baby2Baby, which will then provide their branded diapers to 400 participating in hospitals (California has over 500 hospitals in total.) Meaning that instead of lowering taxes and letting families keep their own money to buy essentials like diapers, California takes their money, pumps it through a ā€œnonprofitā€ that has overhead and whose CEO made $240,000 in 2024, to provide a ā€œfreeā€ service available only in certain locations, and that you could have bought yourself for much cheaper.

The irony is thick enough to choke on. Brittany Pettersen and her colleagues claim they’re "lowering costs," but the math on the ground in Colorado tells a much more expensive story. While they blast "billionaire agendas," they are quietly pushing through a $140 million bailout for an insolvency crisis they created. Here is the reality they don't want you to see: 🚨 THE COST OF "COMPASSION" 🚨 The Premium Hike: Democratic lawmakers are advancing a plan to slap a $40 million fee on Colorado’s largest insurers. Insurers have already confirmed this cost will be passed directly to YOU. The Family Burden: Experts warn this could drive up premiums by as much as $500 per person, per year. For a family of four, that’s a $2,000 "loyalty tax" just to keep the lights on at the state capitol. The Double Standard: This fee is designed to prop up programs like OmniSalud, where 6,700 undocumented immigrants receive coverage with $0 premiums. The Debt Trap: Rather than cutting costs, they want to sell $100 million in bonds—essentially taking out a high-interest loan on our future to cover a one-year budget hole. While you’re struggling to decide between filling the gas tank and buying groceries, Brittany Pettersen and the Colorado Democrats are making sure you pay the tab for people who aren't even here legally. They call it "affordability." We call it bankruptcy. Stop the bailouts. Stop the hidden fees. Stop putting Colorado families last. šŸ›‘ #COPolitics #HealthCareCosts #Colorado #BrittanyPettersen #Inflation #TaxpayerAlert cbsnews.com/colorado/news/co…
President Biden made health insurance more affordable for millions of Americans in the ACA marketplace. The Republicans’ actions increased prices by 58% on average—amounting to huge extra costs for the average consumer each year. My @Morning_Joe Chart.

The DOJ has ONE WEEK left to charge Anthony Fauci for the worst cover-up in modern medical history. He lied to Congress about funding gain-of-function research in Wuhan. Millions died. Trillions were spent. And Fauci walked away with book deals and fawning media coverage instead of handcuffs. I re-upped my criminal referral to the DOJ because the evidence is overwhelming, and justice has been delayed long enough. RT if you’re ready to see Fauci behind bars.

The World Cup is expected to absolutely bone commuters in NY and NJ. Why would you do this to your own people? Money, I presume. Dems once again proving that the people they govern are always their last consideration. "Sorry your train tickets cost 10x as much, but soccer!" Is an absolutely wild priority.

You can give a liberal a FREE* chicken dinner and theyll pretend having to cook that chicken is an unbearable hardship. Fundamentally unserious people.
Congress should be making it easier for families to put food on the table. That's why I joined my colleagues to introduce this bill to let SNAP participants buy hot rotisserie chicken. There’s no good reason a family can buy a cold one but not a hot one. This is exactly the kind of absurd red tape that frustrates Coloradans. Fixing it is a practical step to make the program work better. goodmorningamerica.com/food/…

"I already donate to charity" is nice because it tells them know, has a certain smugness to it and doesn't make you look like a heartless cheapskate.
What’s the equivalent of ā€œI have a boyfriendā€ to those charity muggers that hang around train stations or town centres?

Sad story here but the deceased was only 18, driving a car with over 300 horsepower at 3am. The parents need to own up to their own mistakes instead of criticizing first responders. 18 isn't enough experience nor wisdom to handle that sort of vehicle responsibly. Get your kids a Corolla or a Camry first a first car, not a speed machine.
Lakewood / Westwood / Denver A mother is asking for help finding the truth about what happened to her son, John Caldwell. On February 1st at 3:07 AM, John was involved in a deadly three vehicle crash at Sheridan and Morrison. He was 18 years old. According to official reports, he was pronounced at 3:17 AM. His family says he remained in that vehicle until 7:21 AM. They are asking why. They are also asking about gaps and missing pieces that don’t line up. Multiple neighbors reported hearing his engine revving at high RPMs for blocks before the crash. That can point to a stuck throttle or mechanical failure, not necessarily reckless driving. Witnesses also mentioned something unusual. People possibly jumping from one vehicle to another, or a silver sedan leaving the scene. If you have a Ring camera, dashcam, or saw a silver car in the area, that matters. There is also a reported 26 second gap in HALO camera footage at the exact moment of the crash. The family is asking for the EDR black box data and full camera logs to understand what really happened. No conclusions are being drawn here. But there are enough questions that this deserves a closer look. If you live near Sheridan and Morrison, please check your cameras from that night. Even a small clip could help piece this together. If you saw anything or have information, call or text 719 960 8930. John was more than a headline. He was a son, part of a Westwood family, and he deserves a full and transparent investigation. Help get this in front of the right eyes.

SNAP recipients can buy their own "treats". The reality here is that most of these "treats" are not occasional indulgences, but a daily way of life that replaces the nutritious food this program was supposed to provide. Nutrition, not health destroying franken-foods.
Replying to @SarahHuckabee
Why do you hate kids so much? Don’t you think they deserve a treat every once and awhile. Or is it… just poor kids don’t deserve it. I don’t keep soda or candy on hand in my house, but my kids do get it for a special treat every now and then.

Once again these are not public servants, but those who expected to be served by the public. Government jobs weren't supposed to pay better than the private sector, yet they took a pay cut going there or couldn't find work at all for their useless contributions. Good riddance
Thirteen federal workers who were laid off during the DOGE cuts tell NBC News they struggled to find work, had to move or took major pay cuts after their agencies were gutted. nbcnews.com/politics/doge/ye…
