This is DFW folks... don't take my word for it - take the non-partisan branch of the government that categorizes and divides for the census.
The DFW deniers would probably have you believe there are 72 distinct regions of Texas - and we can't have regional conversations.

Won Texas! @KHS_Baseball wins its first state title with a 2-1 win over Lake Travis! @Cole_Koeninger twirls one last gem for the Indians in the win! We have all the highlights Sunday morning at 10 on NBC5.

One of my favorite #txhsfb memories was at Texas Stadium and Bill Parcells was the coach and he came up to the press box and sat down and had a football conversation with Gordon Wood and I had a Wayne's World lack of worthiness moment.

.@Grandview_athl's @MadiDoty20 is the best softball player in Texas. Doty is a power-hitting right-hander with an average over .500 this year, but her pitching is what makes her such a special talent. Doty's ERA is well under 1, and she has struck out over 1000 batters in her career. She helped lead the Zebras to back-to-back State Titles in 2025 and 2026. Madi is headed to play for @TexasSoftball next year and is our @ParkerUniv MVP.

One of the bills I signed today allows school boosters to raise money to enhance compensation for coaches.
We can’t keep letting coaches from neighboring states like @3YearLetterman get windfalls while our FL coaches get paltry compensation.
