I have a dirty little secret... don't shame me, please.
I started playing
@influenceth on
@Starknet. As a
@solana maxi this has been difficult to share. But it's actually been a tremendous experience, both with playing the game and experiencing another chain. I think a lot of people experienced
@ethereum or another ETH L2 and then went to Solana. But not me, I skipped them all and went straight to Solana. So I never had to experience gas fees or minute long transactions, etc. I got to eat my ice cream first.
But it turns out
@starknet is also ice cream. I'm just spoiled I guess. I bridged USDC from Solana to Starknet using
@layerswap and it only cost 2 bucks. And it took a few minutes. I was pleasantly suprised and nothing like the Ethereum horror stories I had heard.
Transactions on Influence are also quite fast. Roughly 10-15 seconds per TX, however some TX can take up to 6 minutes for a block to be emitted. The difference with Influence is your actions take HOURS. But I'll get into that on a different post.
tl;dr Starknet is pretty cool. Influence is an epic game. I still love Solana.
