2005 DOCTOR WHO, started mediocre with farting aliens and "funny autons" until the brilliant THE EMPTY CHILD. Had it not been for Moffat, pretty sure the series would have tanked. DALEK was good, but a censored version of the far better and darker JUBILEE by Robert Sherman.

Watching the TVM Making of, it occurred to me that the cancelled Xmas 2026 special is basically New Who’s version of ‘The Dark Dimension’: a big event put together after the end of the series starring old cast members, but cancelled because a new era is being planned #DoctorWho

I think JMS could writer sone incredible episodes of DOCTOR WHO… I don’t necessarily think he should be ‘showrunner’ but he’d make a great addition to a new writing team. That’s what the show needs now. A new writing team… #DoctorWho
I don't tender in the usual way in that I'm a free agent, not associated at this time with any one major streamer or network. But on the flipside, that means I can team up with any production entity that wants to have a discussion.

Hmmm… could be an interesting read with regards to his time working on RTD2… But then again, RTD lies so… #DoctorWho

As much as I’ve slagged of RTD for his ‘dreadful writing’ over the last few years, I actually I thought TIP TOE was very, very good & well written. He’s obviously so much better at writing that sort of drama than he is ‘science fiction’ (which is what WHO should be)… #DoctorWho

I think this creative team coins make a great version of DOCTOR WHO….
Hand it over to the Them There team and cast Mathew Baynton in the lead. Back to 30 minute weekly episodes and focus on story over spectacle. A guaranteed hit.

About 18 months ago I bought every episode of STARGATE SG1 and STARGATE ATLANTIS on DVD from a charity shop for a tenner!! Yesterday I finally started watching them (ep 1 of SG1). Really quite enjoyed it. How long will take me to watch all the eps? Could be a while … #stargate

I agree with this 100% . Whoever runs the show now will be ‘fresh blood’ and bring a whole new feel to the show and, hopefully, learn from the mistakes of RTD2. We may have a bit of a wait now but at least our favourite show is out of the hands of RTD… #DoctorWho
Every drama production company in the U.K. will be pitching for the next era of #DoctorWho It’s a huge franchise with massive potential and will attract the very best pitches. The future may not arrive for a while, but it’ll be incredible when it does.
