the ultimate crypto swipe file now has 777 post ideas for you to use. no slot machine needed, although the odds of finding a better post angle are probably higher here than your brain just thinking about another 'gm' post. may also had a lot of updates for the swipe file too: - 200 pieces of content added - collections are less annoying now, so you can save posts without fighting the site - crypto marketing jobs board is live - the site is cleaner and faster - task spinner is live too, in case you couldnt decide what task you should do next... check em all out via the link in my bio

every application to a social role: “your brand could benefit from applying a ‘reply guy’ strategy, posting more memes and leaning into the ‘degen’ mindset”

p.s. here’s how to actually standout when applying for a role 👇
biggest mistake i made when interviewing for jobs and how i fixed it to land the top jobs: trying to prove i was one of, if not, *the* best social media manager (smm) in the industry and instead showing how i was the best smm for the role. the company trying to hire you doesn’t care how good you are vs the rest, they only care how good you’re going to be for them. so instead of amping up the previous work you’ve done and hoping that they see how good you are, tie it into how what you’ve done previously can help them. for example, if you increased of just saying something like: “i grew engagement by 300% and grew their followers by 50,000” say something like: “at my previous company i grew engagement by 300% by building content around existing community conversations instead of pushing corporate messaging. looking at your social channels, i think there’s a similar opportunity here because your audience already has strong opinions about [topic]” the try to be specific to them on how you can help them achieve what you’ve already done. this obviously requires a bit of research on your side to study their socials and their audience for the best results. this way you’re connecting the dots for them rather than hoping they do the same. i never consider myself one of the best smm’s in this industry but i know i’m better than most at connecting the dots for potential employers which is what helped me land the better roles and get better salaries, not being “the best” skill wise.

no one gives a shit who you are. they don’t care who you are, what you do and they certainly don’t feel like they owe you a follow. you should keep this in mind every time you open a draft to write something. whether your managing a brand account or trying to build your personal brand, it’s up to you to earn that like, comment, repost and, eventually, a follow. it’s a mistake to thing you’re owed anything because you’ve consistently been posting or engaging. so if you’re not getting the results you want, you’re approaching social growth from a selfish perspective and not giving people a reason to care enough to be interested in you.

AI use is creeping into our daily work cycle, whether we like it or not. even my company is actively measuring my AI usage as part of performance reviews now too. so here are 6 ways i use AI as someone who works in social media and content: 1. automated reports no longer do i have to write lengthy reports or pull data directly from sprout social and other tools and type them all up. now i just get claude to do that for me and send it to me to copy and paste into the report. i sometimes use grok to get further context on what’s happening sentiment wise for competitors directly on twitter. 2. competitor watch i now have a scheduled task that runs daily and looks at our direct competitors to see what they posted in the last 24hrs, writes a summary of it and then builds a narrative of what they’re doing over time and gives me recommendations on where to exploit those narratives from our side (if relevant). 3. writing the most obvious use case but i started with trying to reverse engineer our brand voice by feeding it tons of content to understand how we write and sound. i then created a prompt for the voice so multiple writers can come out with similar sounding pieces each time, especially as we sometimes get given tech based content directly from the tech team themselves. i’ve also created prompts based around different pieces of content and how they should be structured (e.g. product launches, partnership announcements, research articles, thought leadership, etc). this has now left our team with content drafts that are ~70% done and we can come in to edit and rework parts to make it more “human” and up the quality. i also use it to summarize twitter spaces or any other kind of livestream much more quickly, as it saves me having to go back and watch/listen to a whole hour of conversation and type up the key points. using it for general writing (first drafts only) definitely saves the most time currently out of all the use cases i’ve found so far. 4. ideation aligned with the above but being able to get ideas beyond my own experience and imagination helps speed up the initial process of creating a campaign, writing content, etc. 5. campaign assets i’ve even vibe coded a whole “mini-app” that was used in a social campaign then given it to the product team to formally build it and make it more secure to use and it was done in less than a week vs the usual turnaround time. also doing a mockup graphic for the design team to understand what i want more easily and save time going through draft after draft. 6. summarize meeting notes i have a horrendous memory and will forget things instantly so this has been a real life saver for me. having the ability to pull out key things i’ve not noted down and be able to implement them without having to go back and ask is great. it also helps for when you can’t attend a meeting but can still get everything from the transcript/automated notes. what other ways are you using AI in your daily flow?
