@Vodafone. BT Openreach gave kindly looked at this and have done what I asked of you – sent in an engineer. He confirms that the fault is the phone, a SOGEA line so VOIP is not working. He said it is the responsibility of Vodafone to deal with it as a matter of urgency

Soil is one of our best defences against climate change but one of the key problems I see on site is the careless disregard for it before we even get there. It takes hundreds of years to create an inch of fertile topsoil but it can be destroyed in minutes!

Appalling experience from @VodafoneUK today. Going for upgrade, I went through ID & security & finance checks, payment plan, T&Cs … lots of gaps in between. 1 hr 20 mins later, a missed visitor & missed delivery I heard this phone is no longer available. Tell your staff Vodafone

Please don't leave food out in the #NewForest where our livestock can eat it. This, in Burley village car park, is a pony-proof litter bin, not a bird table! Human food makes ponies ill & in this location they are also at risk from cars. Rangers removed bread!

G274 & G324, released in 2019, have formed a strong pair bond on the Island. Often together they have been “dueting” in the early mornings, seen occasionally carrying sticks and one attempt at copulating. It is still very early days but these are encouraging signs @RoyDennisWF

The elusive #Goshawk (Accipiter gentilis). Did you know there are around 40 pairs of #Goshawks living in the #NewForest? They nest in the canopies of some of the Forest's tallest trees & are experts at silently flying through the forest to hunt.
