Some lessons thus far: 1) Remember it’s not just students coming to college but whole families; 2) Never assume students implicitly understand what we mean — the hidden curriculum is real; 3) No syllabi with costly materials but no way to ensure all students can get them.
REMINDER: Dr. Anthony Jack, author of the Privileged Poor, will join us tonight at 5 p.m. for a conversation on what the campus community can do to create equity and inclusion for all students. Registration is required for the event: bit.ly/3tFpwgY @tony_jack
