Needless to say, this has all been very bad for my health and recovery.

Later in the week when I am back from my appointment with the orthopedic surgeon, I will be calling for a protest against the cyber crime act which has been used to prevent Nigerians from criticizing their oppressors. For all the persons being and who have been hassled under it. The cybercrime act cannot stand. It's an illegal piece of legislation that continues to be used against Nigerians by their oppressors. Even before there is a formal, physical protest, take of your clothes. Protest with your bodies, if you no longer feel you have a voice. As they have tried to take our voices. Take pictures and tag the NBA, National Assembly, the US and UK embassies in Nigeria and all other orgs that have spoken against this. I will be doing this as well. Before and should I decide to (dis)honour that ridiculous invite. I am also calling on the @NigBarAssoc and it's president @afamosigwe to witness how much the apparatus of law and it's systems and institutions are being used to subvert the voices of Nigerians. Because they were silent in the face or this illegal legislation being passed. And it's sibling and very institutions continue to be used against the people it's meant to protect. It's not only the cybercrime act, police and rider-thugs that have been used to attempt to silence me. Apart from the shooting threat by thugs, this police invite with the ridiculous charge of cyber bullying, lawyers have also been employed. See the NDA @OlaniwunAjayiLP, Nigeria's supposed most prestigious law firm was hired to give and gave me. An Nda saying I cannot speak about my accident. An accident that left me with a spinal fracture and almost ended my life. The NDA asks that I never even speak bout the fact of a public incident. Erasing it as it were. As if it never happened. My life, my pain. A public incident. I and the other victim both. Is this ethical? The ethics you people teach upcoming lawyers, does it allow things like this? Asides ethics, is it even legal? Is this enforceable by any court of law in this country or anywhere in the world? To prevent a person from speaking about a public incident that happened for the world to see. Can I also be legally prevented from speaking about the June 12 election? Endsars? Father Christmas? What else? Chowdeck has done everything to and against me. Do you know what they haven't done? They haven't heard from me. Listened, seen me or my pain. Because this is something Nigerian figures that hold any kind of power don't want to do, hear of, and see our pain. Take accountability for their part on it. I haven't heard a word from any exec of Chowdeck for 4 months now. I asked to see the CEO, an exec, someone with decision making power, they said no. I asked for us to see in a virtual call. All you have to do is sit down in your house. You don't even have to go anywhere, do anything. Literally just sit down, log in and listen. Your camera can even be off. You could even not be there. Have someone pretend to be you. They fixed a zoom call meeting. And guess what, they didn't show up. They weren't at the zoom meeting they fixed. Only lawyers came. That's why this has dragged on. It's not been about the money, but accountability. But these people hold us in disdain. They don't think we are worth hearing, listening to. They rather use the biggest lawyers and law firms, police, the cybercrime act. But they will hear, and listen to, and feel our pain. Because those tools will be rendered obsolete. If they take our voices, we will protest with our bodies. Wherever you are, paint truth, free speech, etc on your bodies. Post the pictures and tag these accounts that should care a out em. We will convene next week for a physical protest at those locations if we do not get sufficient responses that our calls are being heard. Do this. The 6 guys got my address from a bicycle repairer. A person who repairs and sells bicycles to Chowdeck riders. So someone central in the Chowdeck riders network knows my address and feels aggrieved and has given out my address. Who knows how many more persons within the network he's given my address? It makes me feel like there is a bounty on my head in the Chowdeck network of riders. Everytime I step out of my house, I get stopped, accosted, questioned by Chowdeck riders about this motocycle. This very guy that gave out my address stopped me to question me about the motorcycle. I have a video of it and I have videos of most of these encounters that I took and kept. Same me who they fractured his spine, that they came to his home threatening shooting, I am the one being accused of threat to life and cyber stalking and conspiracy. What's worse, this is currently in the police station where I reported it at Area F, for months now. When @chowdeck is summoned there to answer questions, they either come late, or don't come. The last two times they were invited, their rep didn't come. He said he was sick or travelled. I reported them to the police, they didn't come, then went to another police station to petition me for the very thing I was reporting them for. Now I am the one being summoned to come answer questions when they, originally accused, are not coming to answer questions. Talk about police shopping. About this summons, I don't think I will be answering it. Yes, it's just a summons to hear from me. But they shouldn't even be entertaining it. They should have thrown it out completely. Two, I have a spinal fracture. My mobility is limited. I shouldn't be the one getting summoned to answer questions by the people who gave me the fracture, who are accusing me of the thing I am accusing them of. Three, this is a subversion of police procedure. A matter you are being questioned on, you run to another police station to shop your own police to counter accuse. If you believed you were suffering conspiracy or cyberstalking and threat to life, you could have said it to the police currently handling it, in the jurisdiction it happened. Instead they went somewhere else outside where I live, outside where all this happened and where it will take me considerable effort to go to. Four, I have an appointment with my orthopaedic surgeon that very day they are summoning me. Five, they can decide to call me, fix a virtual meeting. You already know this is a case with someone who has mobility issues and this is 2026. Six, they could have called me before showing up at my home. Having plain clothes “policemen”, strangers show up at my home all of a sudden, I find all this very alarming and threatening. Which is what I am sure it's supposed to be. This is after half a dozen guys showed up at the same home threatening shooting and Chowdeck riders and affiliated people confront me daily around my home. Seven, the law they are petitioning me under, the cybercrime act is in my opinion an illegal piece of legislation that has been condemned by several national and international bodies and civil societies, rightly so, as a tool used for the repression of criticism, free speech and targeting journalists and critics. I am particularly sensitive to this, as a writer. For this reason I don't think I will be honouring that invite. But if I do go, I will be showing up to the station to not honour but dishonour that invite. I will be showing up naked, with NAKED and TRUTH painted on my body. I will be wearing the naked truth on my skin as my only clothing. Since my voice is being silenced like that of many Nigerians by this illegal ACT. And I am calling for a campaign against this law. After 6 men including the Chowdeck rider that fractured my spine, claiming to be sent by @chowdeck, showed up at my home looking for me, threatening shooting, I and the other victim @PurityAddereth have been summoned by the @PoliceNG on a petition written AGAINST US for conspiracy, CYBERSTALKING, and threat to life. In relation to the @chowdeck rider accident. When I took their invite to the police station at Area F where it was already being handled, because I reported all this when it happened, their representative admitted the petition was filed by the company. Listen to this again. Six aggressive men including the Chowdeck rider who fractured my spine came to my house, threatening shooting. I am the one now being petitioned for threat to life under the cybercrime act. The men who came to my house to threaten us said they came to inquire about their motorcycle which is being held by Chowdeck on request of the police. But they came to my house because apparently Chowdeck told them it was because of me the bike was being detained and they should come to me. I have a recording of the rider admitting this. Chowdeck says they didn't send him to come to my house and threaten me. Or even come to my house. But they did say that the bike was being held because I had a case with them. And that until I dropped the case against them, note. Not that until the case was resolved, but until I dropped the case, the bike couldn't be released. This kind of language puts the onus on me. It blames me. Puts a target on my back and makes me the subject of the bike man's ire. Which in turn led to them coming to my home. Imagine recovering from a spinal fracture. Then all of a sudden you hear the person who fractured your spine, almost killed you is at your home. It's alarming at the least. And not just there, but there with five other people, making a half dozen overall, threatening to shoot the security person at the compound, accusing them of hiding me. I wasn't at home at the time btw. I was recuperating somewhere else. But imagine if I was. My security guy said they looked like they were there to do me harm or fight. That the one that threatened shooting was an agbero he had seen around in a bus stop close by. The rider spoke to me on the phone, and I explained to them the motorcycle wasn't with me, it was with Chowdeck. And it wasn't because of me it was being held. It was because Chowdeck had a case to answer. They were asked to leave by other occupants of the compound and they refused. If you fracture my spine, give me nothing after, for my care, I shouldn't be the one being hassled to make it go away to clear up the baggage. The onus should be on you to clean this up asap, to do that. And they hadnt. Instead they were using language that made me the aggressor. And now accusing us their victims of cyber bullying and threat to life? I have been caring for myself to the tune of millions weekly. I had a caregiver to do everything for me, even bath me, because I couldn't bend down, carry anything. Still can't do a lot now, months after. You haven't given me a penny for my care since, but you are telling people their bike is held down because of me. And at this time, they were trying to get me to accept the vastly inadequate settlement they were offering and sign the nda their lawyers @OlaniwunAjayiLP were trying to get me to sign. I had people invade my home to threaten shooting, violate the sanctity of my safe space where I should be healing. They have also been disclosing information of the negotiation to parties who should not have those info. Telling the rider and his folks inflated demands to make me look bad. They told these people that came to my home we were asking for a hundred million naira. At a time when we had agreed to accept 10 and the only thing holding this up was the NDA. All this makes is very unsafe, here at our home and neighborhood. @NigBarAssoc

Today is the three weeks anniversary of fracturing my spine and almost dying several times that day.

Chowdeck need to respond to this. I’ve gone through everything written and the Chowdeck Supervisor is most irresponsible for his actions. Lives mean nothing in this part of the world.

Getting an uber which I was asking @chowdeck for was the absolute least & really not too much. The right thing would actually be an ambulance cuz I had a spinal fracture. How I was moved definitely aggravated it. We didn’t even say ambulance. The very barest minimum was too much
