The good answer is A. Yes. The creation of the Lightning Flow token is a sub-event of the prevention, and happens before the original event occurs (6.4.1a) Because it exists before it begins to occur, its prevention effect can be applied to Tap Lessons Past's remaining damage.

In a game of Omens of the Third Age limited, Tyler plays Tap Lessons Past (blue). Nic activates Starflow Robes and Prevents 1 of the arcane damage, creating a Lightning Flow token. Since their Lightning Flow has Spellvoid 1, can they apply it to the remaining 1 damage?
