For this year’s International Women’s Month, we celebrate 40 incredible women developers across Africa. Women who are building, solving real problems, and contributing to a global digital economy that often overlooks them. Despite women making up less than 30% of the global tech workforce, African women are rising and creating impact that goes far beyond borders. This is more than representation. It’s a reminder of what’s possible. Happy International Women’s Month. 💙 #InternationalWomensDay #WomenInTech #AfricanWomenInTech #IWD2026 #TechInAfrica

As we move further into the year, one thing is clear — 2026 will be defined by what we build. At PyLadies Ghana, our focus remains unchanged: creating space, strengthening community, and shipping meaningful work. The year is already in motion. So are we. 1/2

Wrapped a great #ARIN56 in Arlington! Rewarding week contributing to Internet policy. Got to be a co-shepherd on a draft policy and co-facilitate a Policy Engagement table topic. Proud to also serve as a guest mentor for the Fellowship Program & share insights as a past fellow. Huge thanks to @TeamARIN staff for the seamless event and to the community for the essential discussions. Until the next one! #InternetPolicy #Fellowship #InternetGovernance

I’m excited to be speaking today at a session organised by @PyLadiesGhana under the theme: Empowering Women in Cybersecurity: Building a Safer Digital Future. This theme couldn’t be more timely. As technology becomes deeply woven into every part of our lives, the need for diverse voices in cybersecurity has never been greater. For me, this isn’t just a conversation about representation, it’s about resilience. It’s about ensuring that as we build secure systems, we also create inclusive spaces where women can thrive, lead, and shape the digital world. I’ll be sharing parts of my journey in cybersecurity; the lessons, challenges, and opportunities that have come with navigating this field and exploring how we can collectively make the digital future safer and more inclusive for all. Grateful to the team at Python Ghana for the platform and for continuing to drive important conversations around cybersecurity awareness, mentorship, and empowerment. Here’s to more women taking up space, breaking barriers, and leading the charge for a safer digital Africa.
