Visited my son's grave for the first time in awhile. The plaque for him was covered in dirt and had some some grass growing over.
Distressing - but also opens up how the “groundskeeping” in cemeteries are only concerned with the height of grass and disposing of dead flowers.

This is just every hollywood movie. Like it's all of them. Even most of the shows that people trot out as examples of Dark and Gritty fiction end in ways that affirm the moral worldview of the average audience member.
