It’s not particularly a secret that I’m not a fan of games journalists. There are people I like, but a lot of them are few and far between. I don’t mind opposing view points. Hell I don’t even mind if you’re standing on your point and taking it to the grave. But what I do not like is seeing people out there, in these jobs, who act like they are above the fanboyism, the cult of console warring, the knowing better than you and what’s best for the industry, and the performative activism behind “We want games to be everywhere and anywhere” but coincidentally only for one specific brand and no one else.
It’s two faced, it’s hypocritical, and it’s outright dishonest. You don’t even believe the bullshit you’re pushing. Have the balls to say what you mean instead of hiding behind these feel good sweetnothings.
