When I first saw this scene, the black sun in the sky, the fireworks and characters moving from a coloured frame to being in black and white, I realized we had entered the blockbuster renaissance. Big cinema could finally be grand in scale AND good again.

It's said that at the center of the earth (below) is the EM (electromagnetic) or BLACK SUN. This sun generates ELECTROMAGNETISM "said to sustain ALL life."
This electromagnetism filters up through the ground from the black sun which also projects a beam through the hole at the centre of the earth at the (magnetic) North Pole. This beam of swirling green lights are known as the AURORA BOREALIS, or the NORTHERN LIGHTS.
Projecting up to the firmament these waves rain down and spread across the realm.
