Boredom. I don’t think it’s my job as parent to keep the 6.5 year old occupied and entertained all the time. She must learn to fill in the spaces herself, and she must also learn to sit with herself. I used to feel guilty about this because she’s an only child.
What are you happy to let your kids struggle with? Where you step back and just let them, see to finish? Regardless of how long it takes?
