This week I had the privilege of defending my PhD thesis 🎓 We tackled the “grey zone” adnexal masses (IOTA Simple Rules inconclusive) and compared 2nd-line triage! Key takeaways: ✅ Expert US >🧲 MRI >🧪 ROMA Huge thanks to @ClinicaNavarra for making this possible!!!

In practice, most patients will still go to IDS. The challenge is to identify the small group who benefit from PDS R0 without complications!!! Two questions: 1️⃣ Can we really achieve R0? 2️⃣ Can we do it without any complication?

But #SUROVAstudy is strongly hypothesis-generating: the longest survivors were those with PDS R0 NO postop complications! The key is not PDS vs IDS in theory, but doing the right surgery safely in the right patient!
