I'm a Glaswegian. There was a time when that made me so proud. It was the best city in the world. Now? It's a decrepit dump, allowed to run to ruin by whoever is meant to be the custodians. An iconic skyline, destroyed forever. Last night's fire has to be the final straw.

The second of January will forever remain one of the most poignant dates in the Rangers calendar, as we come together to remember the 66 members of the Rangers family who lost their lives following the tragic events on Stairway 13 in 1971.
We also hold in our thoughts the 25 supporters who died in the 1902 Ibrox Disaster, the two supporters who lost their lives on Stairway 13 in 1961, and all those who have been affected by tragedy at our home.
As this is our closest home fixture to the second of January, a minute’s silence will be observed prior to kick-off in their memory.

These aren't castles, palaces, or cathedrals.
They're all water towers, literally just bits of infrastructure relating to water management.
