It's not likely an issue anytime soon, but... many chains use SHA-256, which could be vulnerable to quantum hashing attacks. @hedera uses SHA-384, stronger and govt-approved. The bigger threat? Signatures—ECDSA & Ed25519 (used by Hedera too) are at risk from Shor's Algorithm, potentially exposing private keys.
