Thrilled to share that our multi-centre #RFH & #UCLH prospective cohort study results are now published in @jmirpub . We investigated the feasibility and acceptability of a real-time multimodal programme using commercially available wearable technology @Garmin, home-spirometers @NuvoAir, and smartphone app @radar_base for patients with #ILD, #COPD, and #Covid_19 . This new preprint nicely brings #mHealth and #nlp components from @phidatalab together into one pipeline: @RADAR_base for collection of speech from smartphones -> Speech-to-text (using @OpenAI Whisper) -> Text analysis -> Depression symptom association

We identified 29 topics in 3919 transcribed speech texts from 265 participants (from the RADAR-MDD study). Six topics with a median PHQ-8 score ≥ 10 (depression screening threshold) were regarded as risk topics. @RADARCNS @radar_base
