McKenna literally spent months campaigning for a Prime Minister who has now pushed through a bill to make it easier to stomp all over Indigenous rights to build pipelines and who is making calls for "decarbonized oil." Oh yeah and under her, our country bought a pipeline.

Canada has abandoned the path of reconciliation and nation-to-nation building in favour of a continuation of ruthless settler capitalism disguised as “elbows up” nationalism. This isn’t going to end well.

The trial verdict is in. A jury found Greenpeace International and two Greenpeace entities in the US liable for over US$ 660 million combined in Energy Transfer’s meritless SLAPP lawsuit. Energy Transfer Partners tries to erase Indigenous leadership from Standing Rock's history. We know the truth - our movement was born from prayer ceremony, led by Native women youth.
