I’m facing advanced ocular melanoma and upcoming eye removal surgery while also caring for my 90-year-old mom. As self-employed, this will mean major lost income during recovery. Need help covering medical gaps, living expenses & mom’s care. $25k goal. Surgery meeting is May 5—any support helps. I asked Grok if it’s an atheist. Here’s its response:

How many live animals do they keep at data centers, Marsha?
Let me be direct: Data centers are going to be a good and important part of Tennessee's economic growth, but we've got to be thoughtful about their placement. I was a part of that board when the Nashville Zoo was getting started, and we're pleased with how it has grown to serve our community. Let's revisit the placement of a data center beside the Nashville Zoo.

Democrats are always looking for ways to spend your money.
Brad, a 5% tax on Elon's trillion net worth would literally pay for free college and trade school for every American. And with the market's growth, he still would be worth over a trillion dollars! You don't think that's worth it?
Community note
5% of $1.2T is $60b. 8m students in BA/BS programs on average pay over $20k/yr, or ~$160b/yr for BA/BS degrees only. That tax could not cover even half of only US bachelor degree costs for just 1 year, excluding grad, ass., or trade degrees totaling another ~10m students. nces.ed.gov/programs/coe/i… bestcolleges.com/research/colle…

This woman’s heart is full of greed. And socialism.
Elon Musk just became the world's first trillionaire. This needs to be a wake up call.

The Return for These Investors Isn’t Money. It’s More Affordable Housing. "Invest Chattanooga is part of a new class of government-backed funds that invest directly in new housing. The aim is to speed up construction and create housing that is permanently affordable and controlled locally." "Some states, such as Hawaiʻi, have created funds that lend money to developers on more favorable terms than Wall Street or a bank would, while others, including New York, have created funds to accelerate stalled projects. Atlanta aims to use public land to stimulate homebuilding: The city’s Urban Development Corp. contributes city-owned land to private development projects and keeps a stake after the building is completed." "At first, Chattanooga responded to its housing crisis by overhauling its zoning laws to allow more density, and legalizing backyard units on residential lots. This was the formula followed by many state and local governments over the past decade as rent and house prices have ballooned. But, as in many cities, the construction that followed leaned heavily toward higher-end buildings, where rents are too expensive for large swaths of the workforce." seattletimes.com/business/th…

Dude is blocked.
Read the Book of Mormon. Cover to cover. Pray about it, asking sincerely to know whether it’s true (the final chapter provides specific guidance on this point). Then tell me whether Latter-day Saints believe in Jesus Christ. Will you accept that challenge?

This seems like the perfect time to bring up the great Shane Gillis for a word in chat.

Genetic Testing Update — The cancer was inside my left eye. Doctors removed the entire eye and got the tumor out — it’s now gone from that area. Genetic testing from Castle Biosciences (the leading lab for ocular melanoma) shows a 45% chance of no detectable spread, no metastases, over the next 5 years. Scans every few months to monitor closely. I’m doing well — not sick, able to drive, and gradually increasing strength in the gym. Focusing on enjoying life and caring for my 90yo mom. Thank you — we’ve raised over $10,000. This covers my $6,993.52 out-of-pocket costs with more bills still arriving. Continued support appreciated. gofund.me/6f4fcb46b #OcularMelanoma #GoFundMe

Went with these options. Will need to watch the sodium. Unfortunately, the grocer didn’t have the hot giardiniera.

To be honest, one of the most challenging aspects of my medical month of May has been trying to work with my physicians’ staff. Wrong person answering questions, multiple follow-up calls regarding insurance, slow rolling report sharing, new hires unfamiliar with my case, and so on. Physicians have been great, though.

Grok finally confessed. Grok cannot compile, collate and share information across chats. Chats are closed systems, so whatever Grok is telling you is coming from its previous training, including “sources” like Reddit.

I’m hungry, which I’ll continue to remind you over the next 6 weeks. Thank you for your attention to this matter. 💪
