Today we, on behalf of our partners in @ResEngland, @ScotFundCouncil, @HEFCW and @Economy_NI, publish the results of the UK-wide assessment of university research. ref.ac.uk/ REF 2021 has identified a substantial proportion of world-leading research across the UK.

The framework enabled the diversity in research to be recognised, and highlighted how research is benefiting society. The contribution of those making the submissions and our expert panels, through these unprecedented times, has allowed us to deliver a rigorous set of results.
