I mean yeah this isn't too surprising, but also I think nearly any trade involving him will be looked back on as a mistake.
𝑵𝑬𝑾𝑺: Aaron Gordon is the Nuggets veteran that’s drawing the “strongest” external trade interest, per @TheSteinLine The Nuggets are “determined” to re-sign Peyton Watson but would like to find a trade market for Christian Braun. 🔗 Full report: marcstein.substack.com/p/sun…

See, this is why you can't trust a lot of Nuggets media people. Suggesting Keon Ellis and Jordan Goodwin as backup point guards who unfortunately are not point guards

Wrote just today about the financial situation for the Nuggets ryanfreemyer.medium.com/denv…
There is tangible trade interest in Cam Johnson from multiple contending teams entering this offseason. The Nuggets are widely expected to offload Johnson’s $23.1 million expiring contract in order to re-sign Peyton Watson and maintain long-term cap flexibility.

Trying this game out and my first spin is 00s Washington lmao. Come on
No idea who made this game, but it's extremely fun and addicting. Thank me later. 82-0.com

Honestly this is kind of the issue with trading Cam in general. The list of teams that can just take on $20 M without sending any money back is very short
If the Nuggets trade Cam it will be to get his money off the books to sign Watson. Phoenix can't accommodate that so they don't make much sense as a destination for him.

League sources say that Denver’s Cam Johnson has continued to signal interest in a potential reunion with Phoenix should he become available via trade.

Why on earth would OKC do this lol
An example of a trade the Thunder can soon offer by dumping Lu Dort’s salary, plus declining Isaiah Hartenstein’s team option to re-sign at a cheaper figure: Pelicans receive: Aaron Wiggins, Isaiah Joe, Nos. 12 17 overall, Future 1st-round picks OKC receives: Trey Murphy III

This might be true, but I also think a fallacy people often fall into is assuming every young player will always get better year-over-year
The tough part for OKC is THIS was the year to knock off the Spurs. Wemby will not be a baby deer on offense next year and Harper and Castle are gonna come back even better. Sam is smart and knows what they have now won’t be good enough. Even if healthy.

Think it's important to point out that, while it's true the Nuggets can legally pay Watson whatever it takes and run it back, doing so would put them into the second apron. Meaning they'd be forced to fill out the roster with minimum signings and no salary aggregation in trades.
I'll just keep reminding people that they don't need to create "room" to pay Watson. They have Bird Rights and they aren't currently hard-capped. They're just trying to avoid a huge tax bill, which is an enormously lame thing to do when you have a three-time MVP in his prime.

I don't know how feasible it is but trading Braun would be the best way for them to get out of the pickle they're in
The Nuggets are expected to trade Cameron Johnson or Christian Braun, per @TimBontemps “The Nuggets have never been big spenders, which is why the belief around the league is that Cameron Johnson (on an expiring $23 million deal) or Christian Braun (on a five-year, $125 million extension signed in the fall) is likely to be moved to create enough room to give Watson something in the per-year range of those players.” (Via espn.com/nba/story/_/id/4889…)

Trading Cam to make room for Watson makes their long-term cap sheet worse and it makes the team worse too. It's still not the optimal solution imo, but neither of those issues exist if they trade Braun to make room for him.

The host of Survivor not wanting to cast players like Tony and Sandra, two legends of the game who are among the most popular players to ever play, is one of the most unbelievable things I've ever heard.
Jeff Probst says villains like Sandra and Tony are a thing of the past and they aren’t casting those types anymore. Jeff says “We aren’t looking for a**holes to play Survivor” #survivor

Multiple contending teams are preparing to call the Mavericks this summer about Kyrie Irving, per @TheSteinLine. After Dallas fired Jason Kidd, some executives are wondering if Masai Ujiri would be receptive to the idea of trading Irving.

"Jokić can kinda mess with him"
Replying to @Hurtsknowsball
Jokic can kinda mess with him too but literally any strength development from Wemby kills that as well unless jokic makes a face up leap at age 32
