I splashed out on this a few years ago: The New Edinburgh Robert Louis Stevenson edition. It was the novel Stevenson was working on at Vailima when he died, aged only 44.
Robert Louis Stevenson‘s home 1888 to 1894: Vailima, Upola, Samoa. Had to cancel a trip here in 2016 and didn’t expect to pick it up again… but here I am.

A tale about one of the worst movies I've ever seen.
That movie stars Eddie Izzard. It's called 'Dr Jekyll'. It is shit.
Everything about it is bad. The story, the pacing, the setting, the acting...
But especially Izzard.
Here's a sample piece of dialogue.
Swanston Cottage remains unchanged since it was painted by Robert Hope in 1914.
The cottage was leased by Robert Louis Stevenson’s parents, during the summer months, for the period of Stevenson's late teens to twenties (1867 until 1880).
Such wonderful inspiration for a writer.
