Keir Starmer’s foreign trips which are well over 40 now have cost the British taxpayer over £4.5 million. More than any other serving PM.

A massive commentary on the enigmatic Propertius. Just arrived in the post from Edinburgh, and from - I now realise- a secondhand bookshop I have actually visited a few times. Book printed by OUP in 2007, back when publishers printed books properly.

Every single person who still cringes at the memory of trying to bullshit their way through an interview or exam question: today, the slate is wiped clean. Set down your burden of shame. Nothing - nothing, I say - could touch this.

America is building rockets that can go to Mars and is taking AI to new levels. Meanwhile, in Britain, our Government is banning underfloor heating and wants to regulate our use of towel rails. I despair for our future under these student socialist imbeciles.

As someone who grew up in a housing scheme in Glasgow, I find it obscene that rich men get to invent their oppression- a glamorous oppression- the lanyard classes can 'address' rather than addressing real poverty, desperation and inequality. Shame on the complicit.

David Hockney’s mum visited him in Southern California after he’d moved there in the 1960s, and as they drove back from the airport she looked up into clear blue sky and said, “I don't understand it. Such lovely drying weather and no one's got their washing out." Bless.

Sometimes you can only shake your head in disbelief at how unserious this government is.
