Did you know that road safety isn't only about roads and vehicles, but also about the behavior and attitude of road users? We still see dangerous habits such as racing on public roads for fun, deliberately blocking overtaking vehicles, and aggressive driving. These behaviors put your life and the lives of other road users at risk. What unsafe behaviors have you observed on our roads that deserve more attention and discussion?

We commend this brave action taken to prioritize safety. By speaking up, you helped protect many lives on the roadπŸ‘. We encourage all passengers to report all kinds of reckless practices to help make our roads safer for everyone.
Today, while travelling from Arua to Kampala aboard a YY bus registration UAZ 701X, the situation became unbearable upon reaching Nebbi. The bus crew continued adding passengers into the corridors, while others boarded carrying chickens and ducks, making it difficult for passengers to even breathe comfortably. I decided to call the Police Traffic Emergency number 0800199099. By the time we reached Pakwach Bridge, traffic officers had already impounded the bus, issued the driver an EPS ticket for excess passengers, and removed the overcrowding. Yes, we have lost some time on the journey, but it is far better to arrive late than to risk lives by travelling in unsafe conditions, exhausted and unwell. Road safety is everyone’s responsibility. Let us value life over recklessness. @M_Kananura @mkituuma @PoliceUg
