It's 43 minutes of jumbled facts. That's unfortunate. Also, he gives the ATSB a bad rap. Of all the official MH370 investigators, they are hands-down the most transparent and sincere.
MH370: Fasten Your Seatbelts! Byron sits w/ Sid who needed 2-wks to edit. Bailey swallows WSPR hook-line-&-sinker, thus USA flew to Arc7 crash site next day (ugh!). Byron discloses Saudi Arabia was secretly funding? search-very interesting. First of all, who gets Byron's house in OZ he was betting on 38-39s? Secondly, re: Saudi Arabia, Australia's ASTB disclosed in 2017 that the pilot's home sim data was apparently representing the pilot's 4-Feb-2014 MH150 flight to Jeddah, diverted to SIO. We in the blogosphere confidently ignored the significance of that, but if you are FBI and Saudi Arabia, I think you say, holy crap! this guy almost took down a flight to Saudi Arabia. This may account for Anwar's rude treatment by Saudi Arabia when he was elected. Of course, shades of 1MBD scandal where Saudi Arabia may have funded, which I wonder if that may have been a thorn in the pilot's side? Meanwhile we in the blogosphere now confidently dismiss the pilot's home sim data, which is still undisclosed except for the redacted leak of 2016. Ignoring that is another probable mistake, because the sim data probably tells us the planned flight path, merged onto after about Arc5. The fact that the search was NOT based on the pilot's home sim data tells you all you need to know: namely denial prevails, and it is not just Malaysia, it is aviation sensitivities pushing back on the deliberate-pilot-to-the-end scenario. Byron is at least a "breath of fresh air" in the sense he is willing to say the truth, whereas so many others feel the public should be told that the pilot was a hero. Why? Byron is basically equivalent to Jean-Luc/CAPTION, and although they see what happened (pilot took it), they do not yet have a grasp on where he flew it. Byron getting closer. youtube.com/watch?v=QACl8xYW…

What was Jeff Wise's big revelation? That he submitted a patent on taking control of a B777 via the avionics bay? He's very confused about the differences between submitting, publishing, and allowance of a patent, as well as the viability of it working. MH370
MH370: New 777 MEC Bay Tour Wild and crazy!! Jeff Wise gets a YouTuber B777 pilot to demonstrate clandestine entry to MEC Bay. Looked like hatch was unlocked? Pilot notes some openings to cockpit so you can see if light is on. I am speechless at the audacity to ask a real 777 pilot to frivolously certify highly-unlikely chance a hijacker could be down there, the truth is, it is at least 10,000x times more likely that the actual MH370 pilot ZS was comfortable going down there to make selected adjustments, like our demo pilot in this video. youtube.com/watch?v=KX2qCYWK…

With Ocean Infinity and Malaysia announcing the search for MH370 has ended due to rough seasonal weather and commercial engagements, it's time to search the acoustic anomaly of Ed Anderson, located near Java in more favorable seas. Read more here: mh370.radiantphysics.com/202…

Despite some challenging weather, Ocean Infinity's Armada 8605 and its team of 3 AUVs should complete scanning for MH370 in all of the outer (SE) proposed area before it leaves for Fremantle in several days. So far, there are no promising contacts to report.

With acceptable weather for continuing operations, the search for MH370 progresses in areas previously proposed by Ocean Infinity, and due south of a High Priority Search Area. Read more here: mh370.radiantphysics.com/202…

Thank you, Naren, for the thoughtful article. It's important to understand that even our best modeling efforts to reconstruct the path of MH370 rely on some underlying assumptions. Finding the debris field during this search will require expertise, diligence, but also some luck.
To appreciate the present search for MH370 and the odds of finding the plane, it helps to look back to where it all started. I wrote this for friends who had lost touch. Many questions beg for answers. linesabouttimes.com/2026/01/…

Just a stunningly beautiful day today in Va, after a cold front cleared out several days of showery weather, and before a heat wave kicks in. This photo is from 5K-elevation Little Pinnacle at Grayson Highlands State Park.

I'm sad to hear that aviation writer William Langewiesche passed away. William's long form story on MH370 was one of the best written. He traveled to Malaysia to get the story and he uncovered some facts that helped to us better understand the mystery. ainonline.com/aviation-news/…

I had several long private discussions with William on MH370. He believed (as do I) that a diversion by the pilot is the most likely explanation, for which he received a lot of undeserved criticism. RIP, William...
