ALT Screenshot of the boycott. Text says More than 90 West Papuan tribes, political organisations and religious groups are calling for a boycott of companies that profit from ongoing ecocide in the world’s third-largest rainforest, until West-Papua has self-determination. A March 2025 ruling by the Indonesian Supreme Court blocked the expansion of the world’s biggest palm oil plantation, Tanah Merah, but did not grant land rights to the indigenous Awyu tribe, which have lived on the land for thousands of years and depend on it for their livelihoods, leaving them vulnerable to future displacement. The campaign has started with a boycott of products using expropriated West Papuan palm oil including Oreo and Ritz which are both owned by Mondelez International.
Huge congratulations to the two Radon poems nominated in this year's Rhysling Awards:
1) "Mannequin Mom" by Rebecca O’Bern (Issue 10)
2) "Mend Your Broken Bow and Aim It at the Sky" by @virtualpowerpoet.bsky.social (Issue 10)

ALT Illustrated magazine cover for Radon Journal, Issue 12. A lone hooded figure stands on a wet, rocky shoreline, seen from behind, raising one arm toward a swirling, luminous green and yellow vortex in the sky. The sky is painted in expressive brushstrokes of green, blue, and teal, creating a stormlike, otherworldly atmosphere. A small glowing container or bucket sits on the ground near the figure’s feet. The title “RADON JOURNAL” appears at the top, with a red anarchy-style “A” incorporated into the word “RADON,” and “ISSUE 12” printed in white on the upper right.
