We spoke to Charlotte Currie, part of the engineering team from @sheffielduni, at this year's @RailwayCIMechE!
This year, @RailChallAtShef improved on their locomotive, simplifying their electronic systems by only using one chassis across both bogies.

Sadly I couldn't make the @RailwayCIMechE as I was broken from Rail Live. However, I was stoked the @RailChallAtShef team did so well. Up against teams with x10 the budget & companies with paid staff. The students held their own, with great times in maintenance & refueling.

Yesterday evening I went to see Sheffield Uni's IMechE Railway Challenge team. Starting to come together, big day 25th June at @Staplefordtrain. @RailChallAtShef team professional as ever. The @RailwayCImeche challenge is always hotly contested, so great to see so much progress
ALT minature test train semi-built on a short section of track within a workshop.
