The last train from St Pancras to Bedford was at 1927. We have just left STP on the next train that left at 2118. There were a good 2,000 refugees on the platform yet it's calling at Luton only and terminating there.
Oh for the days of FCC and four trains per hour.

Folk complaining about the railway today when the tracks are strewn with fallen debris and overhead power lines have been wrecked, and asking for buses and taxis... What part of DO NOT TRAVEL didn't you understand?
I despair.

To be fair, I'm amazed at the lack of disruption and cancellations on @TLRailUK this week. A shame not many passengers have been around for it! I'd expected mass cancellations by now - which has been happening on SWR out of Waterloo due to so many traincrews going into isolation.

Credit where it's due, apart from cancelling the shift workers' trains early this morning, @TLRailUK and @networkrail have done a great job to provide a service between London & Bedford today - albeit with unavoidable interruptions such as the trampoline!

Ah, the usual 2 Romanian ladies attempting to sell tissues on the @TLRailUK 1232 GTW - BDM north of St Pancras. If only the RPIs on this line hadn't completely vanished of late... 🤧

Once again infrastructure problems south of the river are royally shafting @TLRailUK passengers north of the river. This Thameslink concept will never ever work. Let's go back to the halcyon days of the 'Bedpan' line 😞

@TLRailUK I'm really struggling with this one. 1336, 1351, 1421 St Pancras - Bedford all cancelled. The 1406 is running on time but is non stop from St Albans to Bedford, leaving 500 people behind on platform B. Can someone please explain this utter lunacy, as I'm lost for words?

And now at St Albans the driver has announced that the booked stops have been reinstated. Good job I gambled on the possibility of this happening, but no use for the hundreds left behind at St Pancras. 🤡🤡🤡

Good lord. A 3 late start and stops reduced. Well done for making up a MAHUSIVE 2 minutes there by cancelling this train from 2 stations. And GTR wonder why folk get pissed off? @tlupdates
