At long last, here is the Awdry Extravaganza 5 experience from the livestream team's side of things, going through every element of the event! Full 45 min video on YouTube.
We knew it was good - but did anyone realise just HOW good? Thanks everyone for supporting not just the Talyllyn, but the local community too. A railway is more than just the trains - it's the people it connects with along the way, quite literally.
It's unnerving how many scam adverts are appearing on YouTube these days. "This secret technique to make millions" has been about a while but now it's things like "wonderful realistic puppy/panda toy" with clearly AI generated imagery.
Why is this upsetting people? She passed away and her family are no doubt trying to reduce the amount of things they have in their care. If anything, be glad there's an opportunity to own something here and that it didn't go in the bin.

Some have clocked it already, but yes - I did also win a set of slate wagons at auction which I went in with some others to get. These were on show over AwdryEx with THE Skarloey!
Here we are then, a week after the start of the end. Emotions still haven't processed fully but boy, wasn't that something special indeed? The drone caused a stir, but here's all the lovely people from above just after the photo.
As a fellow reclusive person with a perpetual fear of missing out, I feel incredibly included having been part of this particular weekend, with people I admire, respect and connect with on so many levels.
