Building Ace has honestly been one of the hardest things I’ve done. We announced changes to our service levels and pricing this week, and I understand the reaction. Nobody likes changes to pricing. I get it. But demand has grown faster than we can responsibly scale, even after scaling the operation by 300% in 12 months. Sometimes the right decision for the brand, the team, and customers long-term isn’t the easiest one to post publicly. We’ll keep listening, keep improving, and keep building Ace the right way.

Would love to find a way to do this that works with everything I’m doing right now! Any suggestions? 🤔

If you’ve wondered where I’ve been, I’ve been building. RandCards and Ace Grading are my day to day now, but I’ve stopped sharing a lot of it online. Both companies have grown massively, the teams have grown, and I’m more excited than ever about what we’re building. I want to start showing more of it again: the cards, the streams, the decisions, the mistakes, the wins, and the boring bits people don’t usually see.
