This natural habitat on Lower Falinge provides wellbeing for wildlife & humans alike
In a few days' time it is scheduled to be mown flat π’
If it is it will literally harm the lives of residents & destroy a thriving eco system

This is a formal complaint to you @rbhousing.
You know how distressing it is to me when you mow Falinge Common outside my home.
I'm autistic and the mowing noise is physically painful to me. The smell of the mowers also makes me feel sick.

You are, in fact, making my home less suitable for me every time you mow the Common area.
There's no reason why this area cannot be left in a rewilded state, and your refusal to do this makes it appear that you are doing it deliberately to cause me disadvantage.

Please just leave the area alone with minimal intervention and management.
This approach would be so much better for the environment, for wildlife, for pollinators, for your costs, and for me.

Very upset once again with @rbhousing.
They plan to mow Falinge Common on 15th Aug after promising they would leave it for the pollinators.
Lots of wildlife uses it when it's in full bloom, and I use it too, to help regulate and manage sensory input levels.

Last year I saw 6 different bee species using the flowers on Falinge Common.
I put out a water station to help them - Bees need water too!
This year @rbhousing killed most of those flowers by mowing the Common in May.
This year I've only seen 2 bee species.

So RBH have now agreed to record this leak as a repair but not as an emergency; they won't come out until Jan 17th.
We had to contact RBH a 2nd time, by email, & send them the photos of the leak on the boiler control panel, for them to agree to a repair appointment.

How can @rbhousing tell the boiler isn't faulty if they won't come out and see it despite photos of the water?
How is it fair to charge us if they can't find the fault?
When did it become our responsibility to find the fault for them?
How is this not a fire risk?!

How a leak running through our boiler control panel is not an emergency I cannot fathom.
How this leak is not a danger to us I cannot fathom.
What if there's a problem with the flue and that's causing the leak? If the flue is compromised in some way, are we being exposed to CO?
