Valve didn't make games $70, Valve offers best in class service to developers, publishers and users.
A competing launcher buys exclusives and ships games at $10 less and gives games for free frequently and still no one wants to use it.

Valve has been hit by yet another class action lawsuit in the Netherlands, this time from Consumer Competition Claims (CCC).
The CCC claims that Valve holds a dominant position in the market, estimated at around 85%, and is breaching competition law through so-called "Most Favoured Nation" clauses. They argue that Valve’s 30 percent cut on all game sales is too high and reflects monopolistic behaviour. Dutch consumers have suffered total damages of more than €220 million. Source: GameClaim

Just saw The Backrooms movie.
Backrooms stuff was great and cool. Real world stuff was boring. Kane Pixels manages to put in some new twists and tricks. It's like a 6.5 or 7/10 which means it's probably the best internet meme horror movie?
Also some music choices in there made me smile lol

He is clearly mocking the management decision of Valve about the price increase of the Steam Deck to gain engagement, while Epic Games under his leadership has faced repeated mismanagements, major layoffs of almost 830 staff in 2023 and over 1000 more in March 2026.
