Some news: after 18 years (‼️) hosting/making podcasts on the energy transition, this week marks my final episode as a host for a while. I'm stepping away from the mic to focus on growing other areas of
@_LatitudeMedia.
For my last episode of @CarbonCopy_Pod, I bring on some old friends.
@JigarShahDC and @CleanGridView join me to riff on some top trends of 2024 so far: AI energy demand, grid constraints, geothermal, nuclear, America's green bank, and California's rooftop solar demise. It's a lively one.
Since 2006, I've hosted four different shows on the business of clean energy. I've interviewed thousands of people on the front lines of deployment -- through many boom-bust cycles, explaining the realities of building solutions.
Many listeners have been with me since the start. It's hard to express the joy and satisfaction I get from creating content that actually helps people doing the hard work on the ground. It is the most gratifying professional thing I've ever done. Thank you.
Most importantly: The Carbon Copy feed won't go dark! We're working on a new concept (new name new host) that we're launching in the fall. It will feature harrowing stories from people architecting the clean energy economy. 🏗️🌇🏭
We promise: this new show will be unlike any other podcast on this topic -- and we hope it'll be a critical tool for understanding the pathways to scale for a range of clean energy and climate technologies.
In the meantime, keep listening to
@CatalystPod and subscribe to Latitude Media's newsletter for our industry coverage and updates on the launch of our new show.
