You can love him or hate him all you want. He's still absolutely hysterical, and I would pay a fortune to see his stand-up routine.

The absurd attacks on Casey Means reveal just how far off course our healthcare conversations have veered, and how badly entrenched interests--including Big Food and its industry-funded social media gurus--are terrified of change. Casey has excelled in every endeavor she has undertaken. She was President of her Stanford undergrad class, was a standout at Stanford Medical School, and was a top performer in surgical residency. She had the courage to leave traditional medicine because she realized her patients weren’t getting better. The attacks that Casey is unqualified because she left the medical system completely miss the point of what we are trying to accomplish with MAHA. Casey is the perfect choice for Surgeon General precisely because she left the traditional medical system--not in spite of it. Her leadership has inspired many doctors to reform the system and forge a new path away from sick care, which fills corporate coffers, and toward health care, which enriches all of us. After leaving traditional medicine, Casey started a company and wrote a New York Times best-selling book that empowered patients and helped launch the MAHA movement. This ability of Casey’s to inspire Americans to rethink our healthcare system is also an existential threat to the status quo interests, which profit from sickness. The goal of MAHA is to reform the largest and most powerful industry in the United States. I have little doubt that these companies and their conflicted media outlets will continue to pay bloggers and other social media influencers to weaponize innuendo to slander and vilify Casey, the same way they try to defame me and President Trump. But it will not work. Every day, I wake up emboldened to drive change because I know the support of MAHA moms has my back. Casey has played an integral role in galvanizing these moms. Casey articulates better than any American the North Star of a country where we have eliminated diabetes, heart disease, and obesity through prioritizing metabolic health. Casey will help me ensure American children will be less medicated and better fed--and significantly healthier--during the next four years. She will be the best Surgeon General in American history.

I am pleased to announce that Dr. Casey Means, will be nominated as our next Surgeon General of the United States of America. Casey has impeccable “MAHA” credentials, and will work closely with our wonderful Secretary of Health and Human Services, Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., to ensure a successful implementation of our Agenda in order to reverse the Chronic Disease Epidemic, and ensure Great Health, in the future, for ALL Americans. Her academic achievements, together with her life’s work, are absolutely outstanding. Dr. Casey Means has the potential to be one of the finest Surgeon Generals in United States History. Congratulations to Casey! Secretary Kennedy looks forward to working with Dr. Janette Nesheiwat in another capacity at HHS. Thank you for your attention to this matter. the last time i saw someone do the math on this, it was something like it saves you maybe $5 worth of gas if you own the car for over 200,000 miles, whereas it puts 100x the wear on your starter, which is hundreds of bucks to replace
I can’t express how much I despise this system. Dumbest invention ever.

Honestly, we need term limits on politicians, judges and bureaucrats. When bureaucrats are this out of touch with the people they serve, they’ve been in government too long. There is no one who ever needs to work for government more than 10 years. It’s fundamentally anti-democracy to have the same people in power for long stretches.

Politics can rot people's brains to the point that they'll oppose good ideas if they come from the 'wrong people' and support bad ideas if they come from the 'right people'.

So, let me get this straight. I'm busting my ass, trying to keep my 17 hotels afloat – 17 hotels, people, and managing another 11 – during a pandemic that damn near wiped a lot of folks out. Occupancy plummeted. Revenue tanked. I managed to weather the storm, thankfully, but it was a close call. And while all this was happening… WHILE… I'm reading about how Politico, the New York Times, and the World Economic Forum – profitable businesses, mind you – are getting showered with tens of millions in aid? Tens. Of. Millions. Not pandemic relief, mind you, but USAID funding. During the past administration. Coincidence? Thanks to @elonmusk and @DOGE , the curtain's been pulled back a bit, and what do we see? A bunch of grift and a lot of politicians lining their pockets. This wasn't about helping small businesses like mine, the ones that were actually struggling. No, this was something else. It smells like influence peddling. A big, fat, taxpayer-funded payoff. They're playing Santa Claus with our money, handing out gifts to their cronies. It's like a Vegas casino in Washington, and we're all the suckers at the table. Just imagine what that money could have done for actual struggling businesses. Imagine the jobs it could have saved. Imagine the real good it could have done. But no, that's not how this works, is it? Instead, it's funneled for partisan purposes, corruption, fraud and waste, all while they preach about "equity" and "fairness." The hypocrisy is astounding. And don't even get me started on the deficit. Our kids are going to be paying for this obscene display of corporate welfare for generations. They'll be the ones footing the bill for these "aid" parties. This isn't just about me. It's about every small business owner, every taxpayer, every American who's sick and tired of seeing their hard-earned money wasted on this kind of blatant cronyism. It's time to call these people out. It's time to demand some accountability.

The @DOGE team just discovered that FEMA sent $59M LAST WEEK to luxury hotels in New York City to house illegal migrants. Sending this money violated the law and is in gross insubordination to the President’s executive order. That money is meant for American disaster relief and instead is being spent on high end hotels for illegals! A clawback demand will be made today to recoup those funds.

Paying taxes hits different when you see just how many places it gets blown for nothing. $100 million here, $500 million there, $5 billion over there, $300 million there. People work their entire lives to pay $500k in taxes, and it’s a rounding error on one wasteful program.
