AI is no longer just changing products. It’s changing how products get built.
That was one of the biggest takeaways from AIBuildCon 2026; a day that brought together 1,000 founders, PMs, engineers, operators, and investors to discuss what building in the age of AI really looks like.
Proud to have partnered with Airtribe for the inaugural edition of the event, where conversations moved beyond AI hype and focused on practical applications, real workflows, and the future of building.
At the conference, Khilan Haria, CPO at Razorpay, shared how AI is fundamentally reshaping modern product organizations.
His session explored a future where traditional handoffs across Product, Engineering, Design, QA, and Operations become significantly smaller, with AI agents taking on tasks like PRD reviews, debugging, execution support, and recurring workflows. One idea stood out: the real advantage won’t come from simply using AI tools, it will come from building AI systems that combine context, memory, tools, and autonomous execution. As AI expands what's possible, human judgment, product intuition, and customer obsession become even more valuable.
Tejas Gowda, VP - Product at Razorpay, took the conversation a step further, focusing on how Generative AI is transforming the role of Product Managers.
From research and prototyping to testing, launch planning, monitoring, and merchant communication, AI is enabling teams to move from sequential execution to parallel execution. Through examples from Razorpay, including AI-assisted product development and Smart Payment Failure Recovery workflows, Tejas highlighted how PMs are evolving from coordinators of work to builders who can move ideas to execution faster than ever before.
The future isn't AI replacing builders.
It's builders who know how to work with AI redefining what's possible.
