Two times in a row, #methylphenidate was rejected to be included in the WHO essential medicines list. That lead to barrier in treating people with ADHD in middle- and lower-income countries. Clearly this inequality should not exist but we can do something to minimise it.

📚 New study investigates the impact of #methylphenidate treatment on bone fractures in individuals with #ADHD. Results show 32-41% lower fracture risk during treatment, but more research is needed on treatment duration & sex differences. Full paper: doi.org/10.1111/bcp.15714
