My reading on Bo-Katan I’ve been able to rationalize that she probably ran away from home (probably as a teenager at the oldest) and didn’t know what she wanted, so finally having to cope with Satine being dead, something that was in theory her goal, was a shock to her system

Duchess Satine is a cautionary tale about insisting upon ideals incompatible with your reality; her philosophy was honorable, and her stalwart commitment to nonviolence lead to Maul conquering Mandalorian society with basically zero effort and ultimately resulted in her own death

Obi-Wan consoled and comforted the dying Maul even though he had taken Satine and Qui-Gon’s lives.

TLDR, I think Bo-Katan was most interesting as a character who did indeed change her ways, yet who still wasn’t fit for the role she was gunning for.
The best end to her arc would be finally letting someone else have a goal, freeing Mandalore from the prisons of its past

I actually think season two of Mando has a really good depiction of Bo as someone you really shouldn’t trust as an ally since she’s so focused on claiming her throne and everything, everything she does in season two has her desperation running through it
