Speaking of which, let's look at the scores since March 30th, 2026: Toronto Stock Exchange ✅6.0% S & P 500 ✅18.0% MSCI World Index ✅ 7.86% NASDAQ ✅ 29.7% With Year to Date returns already looking like a solid annual return, what will the final 7 months of 2026 bring? Many analysts are predicting the S&P hitting the 8,000 mark. An end to the conflict in Iran, and of course the Mag 7 pulling the market upwards will help. Either way, it paid to stay invested through the headline volatility. Let's keep it going!👏👏👏

So let me get this straight... Canada is in a recession—the only G7 country currently in one. Unemployment is up. Inflation is rising. Food insecurity is at a record high. Yet the highest proportion of Canadians since 2017 now say the country is on the right track. That's either a remarkable display of optimism—or a sign that many Canadians aren't getting the full economic story from the news they consume.

"I thought we were doing better than the US?" Holy fuck these people do not follow unbiased news. Where would he get that idea? Certainly not following business news like Bloomberg (US). The American economy is ripping. While they have bad inflation as well, they have very low unemployment and decent wage growth. The American consumer is resilient. Ours is drowning. Our unemployment is atrocious, especially among the youth. When you are drilled by the PM, and his minions at CBC, about how great Canada is, this is what you get. A class of folks with no clue about what is actually going on. Brainwashed, and gullible.

Honestly, anyone who is still down with Bullshit is a fucking moron.

It's quite simple. Tired of your job? Get a new one. Don't have enough money? Make more. Hate where you live? Move. Friends pissing you off? Get different ones. Family being annoying? Ignore them. The news is always scary? Don't watch. Social Media making you envious? Delete the app. Worried about the state of the world? Worry about your own world. It is kind of amazing when you finally realize that YOU are in control of everything in your life, including and especially, your finances. This is coming from a guy who lived poor, had tons of debt, worked in the service industry for over a decade, and now manages millions of dollars and owns his own business.
