Seinfeld episode 2026: Jerry gets tickets courtside and brings George, who decides, with the Knicks down 20 with 10 minutes left, he will leave the game early to beat the rush out of MSG. As the Knicks mount a comeback he tries to get back into the Garden. He waves his ticket, name drops James Dolan, but nothing works and he ends up getting arrested. Meantime, Kramer sneaks into the Garden and helps Mike Brown draw up the game winning play.

Grateful I didn't drive this overnight. Appreciate the modern convenience (pain?) of 🛬 and red eye flights.

Accountability isn’t about punishment, it’s about growth. It’s about believing people are capable of a higher standard, and fighting for them to pursue that standard. Call people up, not out.

Amen. Have been having this conversation with leaders for months. Letting fear (which turns to self-preservation and self-promotion) drive decision-making rather than purpose, values and standards. Can't complain about the reality you've created. Be better leaders.
Nothing will improve in college football until leadership improves. Full stop. We're watching in real time how important leadership is and how bad things get when leadership is absent, weak, or compromised. There are no solutions when the people responsible for leading, growing, and protecting the sport are the ones causing it's biggest problems and making existing problems worse.

Last month, the FCS Oversight Committee adopted NCAA Division I Proposal No. 2026-22, modifying the final date for a postseason game to the second Monday in January (Jan. 11 this season). It won’t be final until the DI Cabinet’s review in its June 23-24 meeting. #FCS
The FCS championship game date now says Jan. 11 on the NCAA site instead of Monday, Jan. 4, although it may not technically be 100% official just yet. As outlined in the tweet below, the FCS Oversight Committee approved a Legislative Relief Waiver to permit the final date for postseason competition to occur on Jan. 11. But it won't be approved until the NCAA's June legislative cycle

Athletic officials from Nebraska and Georgia sent department-wide memos today instructing their coaches and sport deputies not to schedule Texas Tech. If games are already scheduled, the schools may work to cancel the matchups. Here's Georgia's message:
Big 12 ADs tell @YahooSports they’ve had “serious” talks on not playing Texas Tech. One SEC AD says there should be conversations about not playing Tech “in any sports.” The Brendan Sorsby ruling has left an industry jarred. “It’s total f***** bullshit.” bit.ly/4uWicN7

Big picture take irrespective of this particular decision: there has to be a set of rules all agree to be bound under for college sports to function. Arbitrary rule by random judges across the country is an untenable way to manage the sport.

The NCAA plans to file an appeal in the Sorsby case, source tells @YahooSports, as expected. Several administrators believe conferences and/or schools should file an amicus brief in support of the NCAA's appeal as part of the filing.

My friend and attorney Chad Hatmaker, who has experience in eligibility cases, summed up Sorsby ruling well. “This might be the case that actually generates real reform. That’s absolutely ridiculous. If you have an illness as an employee, you don’t get to break the rules because of it. An alcoholic can’t come to work drunk without getting fired.”

Sorsby bet over $90,000 total including bets on his own team and gets a weak 2 games but you had athletes betting $10 on various sports that got banned for life??? Of all the messed up things that have occurred in the last 5 years in college athletics this may be the dumbest!!

NCAA is now the only sports organization on earth that can’t ban a player for betting on his own team. 8.7 billion people on one side … one Texas judge on the other. Brendan Sorsby won a temporary injunction. The NCAA may have a permanent problem. Column for @espn espn.com/college-football/st…
