Exactly a year ago today I was appointed Chairman of Reform UK.
During my time in the role, I am incredibly proud of what we achieved together as a team.
We became the largest political party in the country.
On average, we welcomed around 6,000 new members every single month and we delivered a major breakthrough in the local elections.
We gained nearly 1,500 councillors and took control of 17 new councils.
None of this would have happened without a great team working tirelessly behind the scenes and the commitment of our members and supporters across the country.
Your energy and dedication made the difference at every stage.
Having travelled the country on my Chairman’s Tour and met tens of thousands of you, I was consistently struck by the enthusiasm and belief in change wherever I went.
Having stepped down as Chairman a month ago, I have turned my focus to the next chapter, including a return to elected politics in Suffolk. ☀️.
Thank you for everything. This is just one step on an almighty journey in British politics
