Why are the same people who call the government thieves simping for a billionaire who benefited from government subsidies, federal contracts, and regulatory credits funded by the same stolen money they condemn?
The government created emissions mandates that punished competitors who didn't meet arbitrary targets, then allowed Tesla to sell regulatory credits to those companies to avoid penalties.
Tesla has made billions from a system of government-created scarcity and coercion.
The state intervening in the market, picking winners and losers, and transferring wealth through regulations is NOT a free market.
The guy who claims to support free markets used government mandates to turn his competitors into customers.
